Who is this little fellow?

At ContentDesign.net we understand that your web site deserves quality writing!

Presenting clear and thoughtful information represents your bottom line.

  • If your message is not expressed in a fresh, invigorating style, the impact will be limited, and may hurt your image.
  • If your site lacks innovative marketing strategy, it will not perform to your expectations.
  • Without a simple, navigational hierarchy, visitors will become discouraged and leave.
  • If accessibility standards are not followed, people with disabilities may not be able to experience your site.

The art of web design is still evolving. You can see beautiful, innovative sites that properly communicate their message as well as poorly constructed designs exhibiting every flaw imaginable.
Writing for web sites is also new. Reading from a monitor is more difficult than reading from paper. Hyperlinks provide a nonlinear experience that can quickly send your reader elsewhere.
To get your message across, your content must be focused, easy to read, and logically constructed. It must also express ideas that will hook people's attention while properly conveying your intent.
We also specialize in photo enhancement and optimization for the web. We provide other writing as well, from letters to speeches to annual reports.

Tip of the month

When writing content, do not include hypertext links to other web sites within your narrative unless absolutely necessary. Such links are not only a distraction, they are a bold invitation to leave your site. If you have to include a link, make sure it's coded to open a new browser window so your own site remains present and open.

"ContentDesign.net continually turns simple bulleted points from our Department Heads into paragraphs that are clearly written and easily understood. In maintaining our web site (one of the most popular in Connecticut), they are extremely well-organized and prompt, keeping information up-to-date and useful to town residents."
